Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS)
INFN

The Astroparticle Lab has been collaborating with Gran Sasso National Laboratory (INFN) for many years.  INFN is the largest and most advanced underground infrastructure for Dark Matter, Neutrino, and Rare Events experiments. Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS) is one of the four national laboratories of INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics). The National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) is the Italian research agency dedicated to the study of the fundamental constituents of matter and the laws that govern them, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research (MIUR). It conducts theoretical and experimental research in the fields of subnuclear, nuclear and astroparticle physics.

LABEC Florence
INFN

The Astroparticle Lab has been collaborating with LABEC (INFN) for many years. The accelerator of the Labec laboratory (Laboratory of Nuclear Techniques Applied to Cultural Heritage) of the INFN in Florence and the research team that manages it. The accelerator is of the Tandetron type and has been designed both for mass spectroscopy measurements with Ams accelerator (which are used in particular for the datings with the carbon-14 method), and for analyzes with ion beams, Ion Beam Analysis (Iba ), which are used to discover in a non-destructive way of which chemical elements a material is composed.
